Tire
Car tires have an "aging", and a brand new tire will age even if it is stored for more than four years, because the main material of the tire is rubber, and the characteristic of rubber is that it will age after being used or placed for a long time. Excessive use of aged tires will affect the performance of the vehicle, and a puncture accident will endanger life. The production date of the tire is easy to identify. There is a series of 4 digits near the wheel hub, the first two digits indicate the production week, and the last two digits indicate the production year. If the owner wants to change the tire, the production date must be clearly seen when selecting the tire.
In addition, car owners must not be blind when upgrading tires, otherwise it will cause safety hazards. After the tire size is determined, tires with the same pattern should be selected to ensure the safe use of the upgraded vehicle. If the wear degree, structure and specifications of the tires are inconsistent, it will not only affect the service life of the tires, but also cause inconsistent braking resistance of the car. When the car needs to brake suddenly at high speed, the different resistance of the tires will cause uneven force on the four wheels, which may easily lead to the loss of control of the vehicle and cause traffic accidents. It should be noted that when upgrading tires, it is better to replace all four tires at the same time. If it cannot be replaced at the same time, at least keep the left and right tires consistent to avoid side slip caused by different friction between the left and right tires when braking suddenly.
Engine
1. Use lubricating oil of appropriate quality grade. For gasoline engines, SD-SF gasoline engine oil should be selected according to the additional devices of the intake and exhaust system and the conditions of use; CB-CD diesel engine oil should be selected according to the mechanical load of the diesel engine, and the selection standard shall not be lower than the requirements specified by the manufacturer.
2. Regularly replace the oil and filter element. The oil quality of any quality grade of lubricating oil will change during use. In order to avoid failures, the oil should be changed regularly according to the usage, and the amount of oil should be moderate.
3. Keep the crankcase well ventilated. At present, most gasoline engines are equipped with a positive crankcase ventilation valve, but the pollutants in the blow-by gas will be deposited around the perimeter of the positive crankcase ventilation valve, which may block the valve. Therefore, the contaminants around the PCV valve should be cleaned regularly.
4. Clean the crankcase regularly. During engine operation, high-pressure unburned gas, acid, moisture, sulfur and nitrogen oxides in the combustion chamber enter the crankcase through the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder wall, where they mix with metal powder produced by the wear of parts to form sludge. Therefore, the crankcase should be cleaned regularly to keep the inside of the engine clean.
5. Regular cleaning of the fuel system to control the formation of carbon deposits can keep the engine in good condition.
6. Rusting and scaling of the engine water tank is a common problem. Rust and scale can restrict the flow of coolant in the cooling system, reducing heat dissipation, causing the engine to overheat and even damage. Therefore, the tank should be cleaned regularly to remove rust and scale.
7. Three filters: The maintenance of three filters refers to the air filter, oil filter and gasoline filter. The three filters play the role of filtering the air, oil and gasoline in the car engine, thereby protecting the engine and improving the working efficiency of the engine.
Air Conditioner
The evaporator and fan of the car air conditioner are closed and dark for a long time, and the internal environment is hot and humid. Air impurities, dust, bacteria and viruses enter the air conditioner and then stick together with the condensate, clogging parts such as the evaporator. Over time, a lot of dirt, nicotine, mold, fungus, etc. attaches. Molds and fungi multiply rapidly, producing the decaying smell of the organism. As the air conditioner is turned on, these odors can mix into the air conditioner, contaminating the entire interior of the cabin, often making drivers and passengers uncomfortable. Before using the air conditioner, car owners are advised to clean the air conditioner ducts and evaporation box. At present, there are three cleaning methods for car air conditioners in the car service market: one is disassembly and cleaning, which is troublesome and time-consuming, and it is easy to cause damage to the air conditioner during disassembly and cleaning; the second method is steam cleaning, which is a popular method in the past two years. However, steam cleaning of car air conditioners has become less and less due to the fact that steam cleaning air conditioners can easily cause damage to the circuit boards on the vehicle. The third method is to clean with air conditioner cleaning fluid. Due to its unique chemical composition, the cleaning fluid has strong decontamination ability in automotive air-conditioning systems, keeps the inner walls of the evaporator and condenser clean, and inhibits the generation of dirt, thereby effectively improving the heat exchange efficiency of the evaporator and condenser and the efficiency of the refrigerant. Fluidity, to achieve the effect of quickly reducing the outlet temperature and obtaining more cold air.
Battery
The battery life is generally 2 to 3 years. If the user installs some appliances that were not there before, such as a subwoofer, it will cause the battery to overuse. In the maintenance of the car, the maintenance of the battery is also very important. Bad habits can shorten battery life or cause damage. A typical battery lasts 2 to 3 years. However, if the use is unreasonable, it may need to be replaced in about half a year. Nowadays, there are more and more electrical devices on the car, so the owner, when using these electrical devices, try not to overload the battery. Taking power windows and sunroofs as an example, the owner should complete raising and lowering and closing before the engine is turned off, because if the engine is turned off, it will stop generating electricity. At this time, raising the window will increase the load on the battery, which is easy to cause damage to the battery. The same goes for the headlights. If it is not necessary to turn the ignition off, turn off the headlights first, then turn off the ignition. When driving at night, turn on the headlights first, and then turn on the headlights to minimize damage to the battery. If the battery is allowed to work when the engine stops working, it is necessary to prevent the battery from power-off, because serious power-off can easily cause damage to the battery, and the battery will be scrapped in advance.
