At present, the brake hose used in many cars is still made of rubber. The outer casing is covered with a steel wire braided tube, which can improve the high pressure resistance. In my opinion, "motor vehicle brake hoses" are not normally used in the main components of the brake system such as brakes or brake master cylinders.
